Isolation for salvation:
These days we are being isolated to protect our lives. Yahweh isolated Noah in the ark. This family prayed and was protected in the ark. Queen Esther isolated and prayed to save her people from destruction by Haman. The Lord isolated Israel during Passover. The angel of death passed over the houses seeing the blood on the doorposts. Today the blood of Messiah covers all who believe in him. No weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isa.54:17).Yahweh will save and protect us but he has given us some instructions to follow.
Pray with humility and repentance. He will hear us from heaven and answer the prayer and heal the nations (2Chr.7:14). Please repent of your sins and pray because if you don’t, Elohim’s fury will be on us. Be isolated in Elohim’s presence (Isa.26:20). Go into tour chambers, close your doors till Elohim’s anger passes off, cover your souls with the blood of Messiah, cleanse your heart and be saved. Be in his presence for protection (Psa.91:1). People in Italy were infected by Covid-19 but did not follow the instructions of the government. They were given holidays to be safe from infection but used it in worldly ways and large numbers of people died. Churchill said, ’use your time usefully during calamities”. ‘Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.’ (Eph 5:16).
Sanitize: Keeping clean and using sanitizers will kill germs. Washing with soap, detergent and bleaching powders will also kill these germs and stop infection. Burning the infected things will also kill germs. These are physical ways of cleaning and sanitizing. Spiritually, keep your soul and spirit clean apart from your physical body. If you allow sin to enter, this will lead to hell and eternal death. Preserve your body, soul and spirit till his second coming. It becomes important for us not to fall into temptation and influences of the evil one but pray for divine guidance. “Be ye holy because I am holy” (I Pet.1:16).
Be far from infected people (social distancing from evil). The Bible advises us to run away from sin as Joseph ran away from Potipher’s wife. Elohim blessed everyone with wisdom to discern between good and evil. When we come across evil forces which tempt us, bad people influencing you to commit sin (gambling, drinking, lying, smoking, adultery, etc) don’t allow them to infect you. Pray to overcome these temptations (1Cor.10:13). Let godly people influence you through word and prayer.
Take medication. When sin affects your life, we fall sick and we take medication. When our soul is sick and we do sinful acts, Elohim’s word helps us to repent and wash our sins. It will support our spirits and restore us and rejuvenates us. The prayer line of Jer.33:3 will revive us. Prayer and the word of Elohim are the two medicines our soul needs. We do not know when Messiah is going to come. The disaster will be worse than Covid-19. If you do not accept him as your Saviour, you will be left behind and destroyed forever.
Do a self examination. Wash your heart with Messiah’s blood. Keep a safe distance from sin. Avoid crowds of wickedness. Cover your mind from being infected from the sneeze of sin and hatred. Do not shake hands with abominations. Do not hug or embrace false teachers. Be safe in Messiah’s arms to be safe. Sanitize your life with the word of Elohim. In case you notice any symptoms of sin, call the helpline—prayer. Always remember to boost your spiritual immunity by faith and Holy Spirit.
In the book of Job, Job asks his wife, ‘shall we receive good at the hands of God (Yahweh), and shall we not receive evil?’ i.e., having received abundant blessings from Him, should we complain when He takes them away?
Healing comes from God (Yahweh). We read in Ex.15:26, ‘I am the Lord that healeth thee’. One of the names of Yahweh is ‘Yahweh Rapha’ which means the Elohim who heals.
Ex.23:25. ‘Ye shall serve Yahweh your Elohim and he shall bless thy bread and thy water and I will take sickness away from thee.’ Deut.32: 39,’I wound and I heal’. When we obey the Lord and live according to his commandments, He will bless us with good health.
He anoints people to heal others. Throughout the Bible, we see that the Lord anoints His chosen people to heal others. Elisha raise the Shunamite woman’s son from the dead (2Ki:4). He healed Naaman from leprosy (2Ki:5). Isaiah healed King Hezekiah when he was on his deathbed (2Ki:20). Elijah raised the widow’s son from the dead (1 Ki:17). Today, Elohim is anointing his people to find a cure for Covid-19. We cannot go around healing the sick unless we are empowered by the Holy Spirit. One of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is the gift of healing. (1 Cor.12:9). The scriptures warn us that in the latter days false prophets would rise up and shall deceive many.(Matt.24: 11). Similarly , these days many people are giving advice on how to get cured. These people are like the false prophets whose faith is shallow.
If you want to be healed, your faith should be strong. Without faith it is impossible to please Yahweh and He is not going to heal you if He is not happy with you. The church has a very large role to play in today’s crisis.. One is to build up the believers’ faith so that the sick can expect miracles. Chain prayers and prayers of intercession (Matt18:19-20) should be done by the members.
The elders of the church should pray for the sick by laying on of hands and anointing with oil the sick (James. 5:14). Teams of dedicated and sincere believers should visit the sick and spread the message of hope and comfort, by holding the simple conviction that God answers prayers.(Matt.21: 22).
Have faith. Only believe, and you will receive answers to your prayers. ‘They that feared the Lord spoke to one another Mal 3;16-18…and to those who fear my name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings’ (Mal.4:2).
